Some sections were too slow, some were too fast, and some plot points just felt out of place. But the pacing of A Court of Wings and Ruin felt off. Surprisingly, ACOMAF was better, which is almost unheard of because the second book in a series almost always ends up being the weakest. The only chance at defeating the invading King’s limitless, Cauldron-fueled powers is to unite the seven courts and mount a resistance. But despite the information she collects, the threat to her home is still imminent. A Court of Wings and Ruin wraps up the first story arc within the A Court of Thorns and Roses universe, and while I did not love it as much as A Court of Mist and Fury, I still thoroughly enjoyed it.Īfter her sisters were betrayed by Tamlin and Made fae, Feyre is back in the Spring Court, determined to gather intel about his alliance with the King of Hybern. ![]() ![]() ![]() In addition to the single-player game, there's an alternating two player mode, and a training mode with unlimited lives and access to any of the levels, plus a level editor. The ultimate level results in a seemingly impassible landscape, however due to a bug if the player accelerates into it, they can get through but the game crashes shortly after. After all levels are finished, the ship goes back through reversed levels. After four levels there is a short fifth level where a base needs to be destroyed by dropping a bomb precisely, and then there is a firework animation as a reward. The levels flow seamlessly into each other, signified by screen colour changes. The missiles are now sometimes replaced with skulls that can move up and down, blocking the path. From the second level onward, the game is inside increasingly complex caverns, so the ceiling is also a danger, as well as new enemies. ![]() The first level is in open air, with just mountains to dodge, missiles which try to hit the ship, and animated radars. Levels scroll from right to left, with a line representing the ground. In Penetrator, the player flies a ship which can shoot forward and drop bombs. En globalité j’ai apprécié cette histoire, découvrir l’histoire de Cruella avant qu’elle ne devienne Cruelle c’est vraiment intéressant. J’ai beaucoup aimé le style graphique de ce manga, ce côté punk avec des traits parfois grossier mais le style fonctionne parfaitement avec cette histoire. Alors je ne saurais dire si ça reprend l’histoire du film ou si il s’agit simplement d’un complément à l’histoire du film/ Tout ce que je sais c’est que cette lecture fut plaisante mais un brin frustrante malgré tout. Je n’ai toujours pas vu le film Cruella, honte à moi, alors cette lecture était vraiment inconnue pour moi. Il était donc évident que j’allais me jeter sur ce manga un jour ou l’autre. ![]() Étant une grande fan de Disney, je ne peux définitivement pas passer à côté d’un manga dans cet univers, et ce peu importe le manga dont il s’agit. ![]() |
