![]() This starts off tragically with the main character, Teirnan losing her emotionally absent parents to suicide. This book blew me away without amount of emotions I had while reading. I don’t go into significant detail however. ![]() ![]() ![]() It’s hard to talk about my feelings on this book without getting into mild spoilers. So tread carefully before diving into this one. This is a very, very sexually explicit romance between an 18 year old woman and her step uncle and 2 step cousins and was hands down the most erotic book I’ve ever read. Also, be aware that this book covers some extremely heavy topics such as abuse and child neglect and toes the line on consent, bullying, and taboo content. The previous issues were full of a lot of political intrigue, particularly in Speros since its senior military leader, Chronos, wants a full-scale war with Genesis and he will do whatever it takes to make that happen. She questions what is happening to her and she struggles to come to terms with what she has done and what she might be forced to do. This issue deals with the fallout of that death and we finally begin to really explore how Aphrodite feels about all that is happening with her and around her.
